An idol of goddess Durga being offloaded manually by labourers. In the wee hours of the 5th night of the 10-day long Dusshera Festival, idols of Durga arrive at the many pandals of Calcutta. They are installed and then venerated over the next four days before being immersed in the Hoogly river on Dashami, the 10th day of the festival.
